41st International Conference and Exhibition ICSOBA 2023

For the first time in ICSOBA history, the 1^st ICSOBA Aluminium Electrolysis Course was organised with the aim to increase participants’ comprehensive understanding of the electrolysis process and give an overview of the state-of- the-art of aluminium production. The course was held at the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights in Dubai from 1 to 3 November 2023 and was attended by 120 participants from 14 countries.

The course provided a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field about the electrolysis process, both theoretical and practical aspects.

A survey was conducted at the end of the course and 46% of the participants rated the overall experience as very good and 42% as good. In the survey we received many suggestions and feedback. Some of the comments were:
